Rebecca Payne

Rebecca Payne is a Clinical Senior Lecturer in primary care at Bangor University where she leads the REMEDY project, developing a technological solution for access to urgently required medication following an out of hours telephone consultation. She is a Clarendon-Reuben Scholar at Oxford University and works as a rotational remote island doctor for NHS Orkney on the island of Hoy. Her research interests lie in how technology can support the delivery of primary care. Rebecca has a background as a GP and medical leader. She currently chairs the NICE Quality Standards committee and has held previous high profile roles including Chair of RCGP Wales.
